Gigs

Every gig starts with a blues jam session, from 3pm. The session goes to about 5pm when we clear the stage for our feature artist.

Musicians of any level are welcome to join in – just bring your instrument.
Drums, amps and mics are supplied.

SHBC has charted a number of blues standards as a reference. Jammers might find it helpful to be familiar with some of these songs in case they come up. These songs are just ideas. The Jam isn't curated - you can play anything as long as it's blues (or a close relation). Check out our Songbook here.

Burning B3 Trio is the exciting combination of Liam Kealy on the Hammond B3 Organ, Sammy Owen on guitar and vocals and Tony Martin on drums.

From red hot jump blues, to smokey slow blues, burning up funk and everything in-between. This exciting band plays a true Hammond trio and traditional rhythm and blues show in every sense.
