SHBC was formed in 1994 by a dedicated group of blues music lovers. We aim to promote blues music in Geelong.
The club presents a gig every 4th Sunday (except Dec and Jan), starting at 3pm with a jam session, followed by a feature artist from 6-8pm.

CATCH 23
Catch 23 is a blues rock band that has been carving out a name for themselves since their formation in 2018 and are known for their gritty, soulful sound that blends classic blues with rock influences. Their debut album, "Blues Hotel" (2022), earned praise for their authentic approach to the blues genre while injecting fresh elements into their sound. Their second album, “Bullet Full of Blues” (2025) offers fans a deeper exploration of the band's bluesy roots, paired with the evolved sound that has emerged from their continued growth as musicians and collaborators.
